Mankind lacks the ability to look into the future and know when things will happen. Scores of people ‘wish’ they had such ultimate ability but it’s totally out of our hands.
So, such a reality in life should leave us cherishing those important people in our life. I didn’t know it at the time (August 5 2009) but this picture I took of Dad and I would prove to be very special. It was taken at the last visit I ever had with him. He was staying at the hospital in Macklin, Saskatchewan as his health had been failing. I visited him and had a joyful time. I am also so happy that I took this picture for it was the last one I ever got of him. My advice is not to let those little visits slip away without realizing that it could be the last time.
