My ancestor Robert Hunt 1678 – 1742 was born at Ashford, Kent but spent much of his life working as a butcher at nearby Wye, Kent. Robert and his wife Jane Jemmat had ‘16’ children, including one set of twins, baptized at Wye from 1705 through 1725. Sadly, the majority of these children died as infants or toddlers. On the picture included you can see the particulars for the children. My direct ancestor, Nathaniel 1710 – 1771 was one of the fortunate few that survived to adulthood. I think Robert, Jane and William were the others who survived into adulthood.
