With studying one’s ancestors, it is possible to gain insight to what their collective lives may have been like. In todays blog, the February 1892 clip from the Owen Sound newspaper reveals testimony from ‘John S Angell’, who was my great grandfather.
His claim was an endorsement of the ‘Cousby Hair Restorer’ product and a claim of how effectively it worked for John! To give John the benefit of the doubt, hopefully it did restore his head of hair. At this time John was 43 years old but by the time he was an old man, we see any longterm hair recovery had ‘worn off’!
