It’s a fact of life that one can’t control ‘where’ your ancestors came from. One might ‘wish’ that the family came from some desired place but the reality is, one has to play the hand that’s dealt to us.
So, to speak from my own experience is all I can do. My ancestors that originated in Kent, England have provided a huge amount of material. The events have been really cool to discover and never cease to ‘amaze’! In todays blog, I’m sharing that I have 4 lines of ancestors named ‘Cooper’ (one spelled Cowper). The recent branches are of Justinian (b1670) and William (b1664), who were actually brothers. The picture also shows the Cooper branches from Marden Kent. So, it’s been an interesting dive into these branches of the family!
