I’m happy to share the importance of the Angel family. Todays blog shows how the family took care of its members back in time. Elizabeth Walker (born Angel in 1818) was the daughter of William and Hannah Angel, came upon ill health and hard times back in 1860. On June 6 1860, Elizabeth (a widow) was committed to the asylum at Clifton, Yorkshire.
Now, showing the love and caring of the family, in the 1861 English census, Elizabeth’s children George 9 and Hannah 5, lived with William 72 and Hannah Angel 72 at Hutton Buscel, Yorkshire. Surely raising a couple of school aged children was tiring for such an elderly couple but they did their best.
Further in this branch of the family, the grandfather William died in 1865 but that’s a blog for another day.
