I’ve had a few DNA tests done to satisfy my inquisitive nature and it has provided many fascinating results! The pie chart in todays blog speaks to something rather specific. Ged-Match is an online facility that specializes in comparing just how cousins connect. What sparked my interest in the pie chart is the blue coloured category as it linked to a Native North American connection. From my early American Colonial Dutch connections was where the native link comes in. Her name was ‘Catoneris’ and in the early 1600’s she lived on Long Island New York. Eventually, she married into my Van Tassell family and the rest is history!
