OurFamilyandMe.com will provide a weekly blog for your interest and hopefully to learn from. I am Trevor Angell, who is your blogger and lead researcher. To begin with I’d like to highlight some of my experiences and abilities to you.
For more than 25 years, I have been researching my own family and the experience of doing it has been very satisfying. I have a very acute sense of ‘who’ I am and the trail of ancestors in my lineage. In my tenure at researching, I have done free lance work for numerous clients to help these people gain insight to their family.
In 2012, I was very thrilled to be awarded with two certificates that ‘proved’ my descent from United Empire Loyalists. These certificates allow me to use the post-nominals ‘UE’ (unity of the empire) with my signature.
I also had my name mentioned in a research magazine article. The magazine it surfaced in is called the ‘Register’ which is published by the New England Historical and Genealogical Society.
