My oldest sister is in line for some applause! In her retirement she has taken up water colour painting and has displayed her skill and talent from within!
The picture in todays blog represents her efforts as she reproduced images from old pictures. The replicas have a connection to our family history in more than one level. The paintings are of the old family homestead house in its prime (middle) the church where they worshipped (bottom) and on the top is the great grandparents’ retirement home. The frame for this picture is made of material salvaged from the homestead house. Such a reality is an honourable ‘touch’ to round out the project.
