To really be an effective researcher in family history, you must be very thorough. It’s imperative to exhaust all possible resources available to you and establish how the documents apply to your ancestor.
In today’s image, we see the November 1709 death document of Joseph Beilby, a yeoman of Tibthorpe, Yorkshire. It’s a dreadful document to read as it’s Latin and also suffering bleed through. However,,,, in spite of the detractors it listed his ‘children’ who now were sadly orphans. Joseph’s wife died in August 1709. We’ll use this scenario again in a future blog as we move forward.
